  Heat arced between them, along with love, intimacy, trust, and respect. They exchanged a long, heated look, and her heart soared with the things she felt for him, and all the things he helped her let go of.

  “There’s one problem, though.”

  He shook his head, worry in his eyes. “Nothing we can’t—”

  “You forgot something in your introduction,” she whispered.

  His brow furrowed. “What?”

  “You forgot to add that you’re a male model with the moves like Jagger. Moves I’d love to see again.”

  “Seriously?” A tortured look crossed his face. “How can you say something like that and expect me to take it slow?”

  She wet her bottom lip and poked his chest. “Slow was your idea, not mine.”

  “Fuck,” he growled. He pulled her in tight, planted a warm kiss on her mouth and scooped her up into his arms. “You’re coming with me.”

  She squealed. “Where?”

  “You need a place to stay, right. And I happen to have a big bed.”

  “But isn’t your place haunted?”

  “No, I told you those were just rumors.”

  “I won’t hear a woman moaning in the middle of the night?” she teased.

  He kicked open the gate, carried her to his car and deposited her in the passenger seat. He braced his hand on the door above her. “Not yet,” he said. “But in ten minutes that’s about to change.”

  “Ryan.”

  “Yeah.”

  “I’m glad that what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas.”

  He leaned in and kissed her. “Me too, baby. Me too. And by the way, if you want to use me in the bedroom for a good story, I’d let you. I’m a team player like that. We can practice any moves you want.”

  He gave her a lopsided grin that turned her inside out. “Ryan.”

  “Yeah?”

  She pointed to the empty seat beside her. “About that moaning…”
